Biology 1
Instructor: Mr. Stoffel   

Biology I and II are designed to be taken in sequence for the full year. Biology I and II or General Biology I and II are

required courses for graduation. These courses are open to students in the 10-11-12th grade, however, the

sophomore year is the recommended year. Laboratory oriented, these classes rely on the use of scientific methods for problem

solving. The major topics covered in the classes are as follows:

1.  ecology and ecological principles

2. cell

3. genetics/inheritance

4. survey of the 5 kingdoms
